真宗

The true sect or teaching, a term applied by each sect to its own teaching; the teaching which makes clear the truth of the (sa) bhūtatathatā. The True Sect, or Shin Sect of Japan, founded by Shinran in A. D. 1224, known also as the Hongwanji sect; celibacy of priests is not required; Amida is the especial object of trust, and his Pure Land of hope.
